Most displays aren’t built for vehicles. This one is.

Standard digital signage assumes a stable mains power supply, a controlled indoor environment, and a static mounting location. None of those assumptions hold in a bus or metro carriage. The DTB286 is designed from the ground up for the conditions that defeat off-the-shelf signage: variable DC power, vibration, temperature swings, and the spatial constraints of a vehicle interior.

Power that works with vehicle electrical systems

The DTB286 runs on DC9–36V wide-range input — the voltage range that covers everything from a 12V coach to a 36V metro carriage, handling the fluctuations and spikes that occur in real vehicle electrical environments. No inverter, no voltage regulator, no additional hardware between the vehicle’s electrical system and the display.

Flush-mounted. Permanently secure.

The embedded design mounts the DTB286 flush into the overhead panel of the vehicle interior — no bezel protrusion, no clearance height penalty, no risk of the unit working loose from vibration over time. At 750 × 255 × 52mm and 4.5kg, it fits the standard overhead display bay dimensions used across bus and metro rolling stock.

Bright enough for any carriage condition

At 500 cd/m², the DTB286 is significantly brighter than standard indoor signage panels. In a bus or metro carriage with windows on both sides and direct sunlight at certain times of day, that brightness margin is what separates a readable display from a washed-out one. 178° viewing angles ensure every passenger in the carriage gets a clear sightline.

Built for outdoor overnight storage

Storage-rated to -20°C, the DTB286 survives overnight parking in cold-climate depots without damage to the panel or electronics. Operating range covers 0°C to 45°C for in-service conditions. The aluminum alloy body adds structural rigidity for the constant vibration environment of a moving vehicle.

Android 11 and CMS software mean route information, service announcements, and advertising content can be updated across every vehicle in the fleet from a single dashboard — without a technician boarding each vehicle. Wi-Fi connectivity handles the sync whenever the vehicle returns to depot.
